My Temporary Address is a photography practice specialising in hotels, lodges, retreats and experience-led journeys. We create complete visual stories across architecture, people, place and experience.

Space is the built form: its materials, textures, proportions, layout and colours.

Places are a conversation at a table, the echo of a hallway, the morning light across a chair, sheers moving gently in the breeze, fleeting views through a window and the feeling of arrival.

We photograph design and lived experience together, creating a visual story that feels complete.

02 / the approach

a practiced wayof seeing.

The practice is led by a photographer with more than 15 years of experience across architectural, interiors, tourism and commercial photography.

Every commission begins with a clear understanding of purpose, access and intended use. This gives the work direction without deciding the images before we arrive.

On location, we work responsively across architecture, light, detail, people and lived moments. We observe how a place looks, how it moves and how it feels, building a cohesive story rather than a collection of disconnected images.

Experience brings discipline to that intuitive process. We know what needs to be prepared, when to wait and when to move. The result is a distinctive artistic interpretation of place, delivered with the consistency, technical care and commercial reliability each commission requires.

My Temporary Address works with hotels, lodges, retreats, journeys and experience-led brands anywhere in the world.

Priorities and usage are agreed, but the frames are discovered on location. The result is a considered image library spanning setting, architecture, people, detail and experience.

Commissions are priced as complete residencies, not per night. Guide pricing assumes one property and a stay of up to two nights; the fee is unchanged if the work only requires one.

The inaugural My Temporary Address residency is offered without a creative fee. It includes the same scope, production and final image delivery as a full residency.

Five founding residencies are available at half the standard starting fee. Each includes the same scope, production and final image delivery as a full residency.

residency· from aud 6,150 + gst ·

Each residency is individually scoped. The starting fee includes brief development, creative direction, one photography day scheduled across the stay, editing, standard retouching and up to 30 final photographs.

Every My Temporary Address project is featured in the My Temporary Address journal, portfolio and marketing communications.

High-resolution and web-ready files are delivered through a private gallery, with a two-year worldwide licence for the client’s owned channels and editorial or PR use.

The final fee reflects the property, access, working windows, production requirements and intended usage. Additional photography days, longer stays, multiple properties, travel, talent, paid advertising and expanded licensing are quoted separately.
